Google May Damage Mobile Networks
Google May Damage Mobile Networks
At the Mobile World Congress, important people from important IT companies said very interesting things. For example, Vittorio Colao, chief executive of Vodafone, one of the most popular IT services provider when it comes to mobile networks, said that Google might affect operators and keep them from improving data networks. Also, all new IT products have to be designed to be good enough for the demand of data IT services.Research in Motion, the IT company behind Blackberry devices said that there must be taken into consideration the fact that banwidth-guzzling products might be too much. "Manufacturers had better start building more efficient applications and more efficient services. There is no real way to get around this. If we don't start conserving that bandwidth, in the next few years we are going to run into a capacity crunch. You are already experiencing the capacity crunch in the United States."
