Brits Favor Amazon for Digital Media

Based on a survey published by Strategy Analytics, majority  of Britons prefer Amazon.com for digital media download. The e-commerce company has secured its position in the digital world and left its rivals behind in UK.


Amazon an American electronic commerce company which is the largest online retailer in the US. According to reports, it is the most fancied brand throughout music, video, as well as game downloads preferences.



Though iTunes still generally leads when it comes to actual market share, Amazon is in a fairly good standing to gain share. Martin Olausson, head of Digital Media Research, said, "Our survey results suggest that Amazon's dominance and brand strength in traditional online retailing put it in a strong position to lead the UK's fast-growing premium digital media sector in the years ahead."
