Companies in UK Venture in SaaS
Based on a recent report from Gartner, around 66 percent of companies in the UK are now using software-as-a-service or SaaS. Gartner conducted a survey by which 68 percent of the respondents affirmed their company is using SaaS enterprise applications. Firms in France and Germany accounted to 71 percent and 45 percent respectively.Garner explains that France has long been using SaaS applicatins compared to UK. Only four percent of French participants said they have used SaaS for less than a year. Gartner added that French workers use SaaS apps whenever available.
SaaS os a type of software deployment through which a provider certifies an application to customers for use as a service on demand. The most popular Saas products include customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), content communications and collaboration (CCC) and supply chain management (SCM).
