Yahoo Debuts New Home Page

Yahoo has added more features on its home page to provide wider customization options to users in an attempt to boost its web usage. The new home page sports a dashboard located at hte left side that shows activity with an array of applications.


Yahoo will be remodeling the home page later highlighting some other cool features such as the ability to house user-selected web applications. It is currently being tested with a small pool of users in the US, UK, India, and France. Among the elements being retained is My Yahoo, which enables users to collect their favorite Yahoo! features, content feeds, and information into a single page.



This move is to regain Yahoo's dominance on the Internet.  Most of the internet users now are too absorbed in social networking sites as well as search engines, and Yahoo is hoping to make a major shift on the web usage trend.
