Windows 7 May Be Available By 2009

Vista successor Windows 7 is anticipated to be officially released by October 2009 with general availability a month after.

A blogger, known as Long Zheng, claims he's been told by a very reliable source from Microsoft about the much awaited release of Windows 7.  However, Microsoft has not formally announced the exact release date of the new operating system, leaving Windows advocates still full of anticipation and making numerous guessworks.  Though some computer companies have expressed plans on using Windows 7 by 2009, analysts say it could very well be released this year.  Hence, nothing is really definite as of yet.

Windows 7 is the next version of Microsoft Windows, and the purported replacement of Vista.  Microsoft has previously said it is "scoping Windows 7 development to a three-year timeframe", and that "the specific release date will ultimately be determined by meeting the quality bar."
