Windows 7 Activation Hackers to Be Discovered

IT company Microsoft used IT Support in order to release a new update that would concern users of its IT product - Windows 7 because of the fact that with the help of this update, illegal copies installed using more than 70 different activation cracks could be detected. This anti-piracy software called Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) will be available for download on Microsoft's Internet site.

The update will be available for download since February 17 and it will also be provided as an optional upgrade through Windows Update. General manager of Microsoft's activation and anti-counterfeit group, Joe Williams, said that "I'd like to stress that the Update is voluntary, which means that you can choose not to install it when you see it appear on Windows Update. Machines running genuine Windows 7 software with no activation exploits will see nothing."
