Verizon Releases New Blitz Phone

Verizon Wireless has recently launched its new Blitz phone designed for the  youth demographic. The Blitz sports a QWERTY keyboard and a slider form factor. It also features a 2.2" display, set in landscape orientation, with 220x176 pixel resolution. It offers a modest multimedia experience through its 1.3 megapixel camera and microSD card slot for extra storage. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for stereo headsets is also on board, alongside support for V CAST Music with Rhapsody subscriptions, for ultimate music enjoyment.
The Blitz is selling for $69.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement with Verizon.  Customers can sign up for V CAST Music with Rhapsody for a $14.99 monthly subscription.
