Security Experts Concerned About Smartphone Risks

In a survey responded by 2,000 security analysts, 90 percent admitted that owning a smartphone comes with a considerable risk..  According to ICS2, business organizations must enhance their network security and make room for smartphones being used for corporate means.


John Colleym ICS2's European managing director, said that a number of smartphones do not guarantee full security.  Colley further reiterated that companies should team up with smartphone makers to better address the problem. 



"Internet phones are like wireless networks four or five years ago: security professionals are against them because of the security problems, but in reality people like to use them," Colley said.

 

"We have to relax and find ways of making them secure, which will need a combination of rules, education and technology."
