Scientists Create Extraordinary Memory Device
A group of scientists have built a memory storage that will last for a billion years. The iron nano-particle device can carry terabytes of data, measuring 1/50,000th of the width of a human hair.It is covered with a dented carbon nano-tube. The tube consists of an iron that can be carried to and fro to store data.
The group asserted memory devices which can store one terabyte of data per square inch can be built. These devices are deemed to be more safe and more durable.
The most common storage units today do not even last a hundred years in terms of durability. The typical Flash memory only lives up to five years.
