RIM, T-Mobile Offers Blackberry to SMEs
Research In Motion has teamed up with T-Mobile to offer Blackberry for only £179 to small and medium businesses. The scheme kicks off on May 1, where SMEs will be given the chance to own a a BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone handset and free internet access for one year.The offer, also known as Pay Once, aims to lure consumers who are interested with web connectivity over smartphones but holds off buying one because of high charges. According to T-mobile’s study, the is a considerable number of consumers who want to own a Blackberry but are turned off by its accessibility features. T-Mobile hopes to gather more customers by creating an abridged cost structure.
Customers who take advantage of the offer will get to sign up for another year of broadband access on the same contract once their free access is used up.
