Paypal Introduces Developer Program

Paypal, a popular online payment service provider, has launched a licensed developer tool that makes online payment services supply a lot simpler. 
 

According to Glenn Lim, global head of alliances and vertical markets, Paypal has seen considerable growth in terms of membership. The firm is now aiming to support non-traditional retail environments.

 

With the new program, making transactions over e-commerce sites and vertical markets  will be much easier. 

 

Lim also stated, “What we’ve found, especially in the US is that the non-related Ebay business, has relied a lot on independent developers to build their sites, especially in the SMB space.”

 

Paypal is also teaming up with Blackbaud to offer affordable BlackbaudNow in July. It will enable small non-profit organizations to develop a website with PayPal payment processing features for online donations.
