O2 Earns Palm Pre Exclusive Contract

Telecommunications company O2  is reported to have won the exclusive contract of  Palm Pre. The  firm will be responsible for distributing the smartphone across the UK.
 

According to The Guardian, O2 bested rivals Vodafone and Orage. O2 has not confirmed the report as of yet. 

 

If these rumors should ring true, O2 will have the exclusive contract of two of the most popular smartphones throughout the globe. The company is now supplying network services for iPhone in the UK. 

 

Palm has still not disclosed the UK launch date of Pre. Meanwhile, US release date was already announced. Palm Pre will be distributed in the country on June 6 at $200 (£126) on a two-year contract with carrier Sprint.
