Microsoft Highlights Push E-mail With Novel SMB Servers

Microsoft will be launching services similar to Windows Mobile designed for smaller enterprises. Additionally, Microsoft and Palm will be distributing a new Palm Treo Pro to firms that purchase one of the new servers and four of the phones.


Microsoft's two new offerings, Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Windows Essential Business Server 2008, include Exchange 2007 SP2. The software is merged with Windows Mobile 6.1 and has the capability to push out email to Windows Mobile phones.



The server products are already obtainable  and will be circulated with push email feature. Users will be able to receive full HTML emails, with affixed photos and Office documents as well as Excel spreadsheets.
