IBM Acquires Security Company
IBM Acquires Security Company
On Wednesday, IT company IBM announced that it will acquire IT security and analytics consultancy National Interest Security Company. It seems that the reason behind this action is for the IT services provider to get something from the U.S. defense budget. The company didn't say anything about the sum it will pay but the deal is expected to close in the first quarter.NISC focuses on the public sector, particularly national defense and security agencies. Also, according to its Internet site, it has over 1,000 employees around the world and some of its most important clients are the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency. The deal has something extra, an NISC affiliate, Technology and Management Services.
