It seems that sales of the IT product from IT company Google are slightly confusing because of the fact that they haven't reached the 150,000 devices that should have been sold, but there have been 80,000 phones bought in one month by eager consumers. When the phone was launched, Andy Rubin, Google's mobility chief, said that he predicts that at least 150,000 phones would be sold, but now he claims that he's happy with the numbers.

Eric Schmidt, Google CEO, said that "The Nexus One is simply the first of a series of examples where you can essentially purchase a phone online from one or multiple manufacturers and have it just work." We think that's a natural evolution of a particular model." The phone can be bought only on the Internet and IT Support is available for customers the same way. When compared with the sales of the iPhone's 600,000 first month and the Motorola Droid's 525,000, the number of 80,000 Google phones sold is very small.
