Google Shows Nonexistent Chrome Tablet

It seems that Internet company Google has decided to release some images of a new IT product - Chrome Tablet that doesn't even exist. The not-yet product is based on the still testing IT service - the Chrome OS. This "concept UI" was revealed by Mountain View, two days before the iPad from Apple was announced. Rumor has it that the IT company is working on a Chrome OS tablet prototype.

Glen Murphy, Google user interface designer says that the images show "how a Chrome OS tablet UI might look in hardware." The single local app that Chrome OS runs is Google's browser and that's it. The IT company says that the product would have a touchscreen interface and that "For touch screens, we provide much larger tab and toolbar targets than on standard chrome. This UI takes up more screen space, but is ideal for portrait devices, and can be autohidden to have full-screen content."
