After its worldwide crash, Google apologized for the error which led the firm to redirect traffic through Asia.  
 

"As a result, about 14% of our users experienced slow services or even interruptions. We have been working hard to make our services ultrafast and 'always on', so it is especially embarrassing when a glitch like this happens," Google explained.

 

We are very sorry that it happened, and you can be sure that we will be working even harder to make sure that a similar problem won't happen again. All planes are back on schedule now."

 

Millions of Google users across the globe were unable to access the site on Thursday. Some experienced slow performance.

 

The major blackout is deemed an early warning to business organizations that are too reliant on the web. Several experts even say depending too  much on the internet is a tragedy waiting to happen. The network infrastructure of the internet should be enhanced to maintain reliable performance.
