Google Docs Plagued with Vuln

Tim Bass, a security researcher, revealed his discovery of a vulnerability in Google Docs that furtively enables private documents to emerge in other users' accounts.


Bass uncovered documents scribbled in Thai which is claimed to be within his ownership.  When he called the owner of the files, Bass was told the same thing occured to him with his Google Docs account. Bass believes a Javascript error used in managing user sessions is accountable for the flaw.



Google Docs is a free, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation application offered by Google. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users.
