Google CEO to Settle Conflict Against Apple

Google CEO Eric Schmidt plans to talk to Apple on a potential conflict resulting from the search giant's announcement of a new operating system. Schmidt will ask if Apple wants him out of its board, with the recent develpments in Google's game plan.
 

"I'll talk to the Apple people. At the moment, there's no issue," Schmidt said. 

 

Google's plan to design a Chrome-based operating system sparked some questions regarding its relationship with Apple's board. 

 

Schmidt started to inhibit himself from Apple board meetings when Google introduced its mobile OS Android. The firm's Chrome OS is set for release next year.
