F-Secure Introduces New Computer Security Suite

F-Secure, an IT security firm, has introduced a new desktop security software, Internet Security 2010. The application has nea w interface that was designed to make it more user friendly. It includes anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spam and anti-spyware. Browser protection, parental controls and application controls are also featured in the security suite.
 

There were key changes made behind the scenes. Upon installation, a basic framework for the new software is created, which then installs the most recent version of the protection engines and definitions.

 

Internet Security 2010 was made of locally stored data and cloud-based information. F-Secure wanted to create a Real Protection Network for a more updated protection. The suite also includes a plug-in that provides web site safety ratings within the browser. 

 

IS2010 will support all Windows operating systems, except for Windows 2000 Professional. The latest Windows 7 is also supported. The suite will hit the shelves in September 3, costing  £39.95 for a three-PC licence.
