Firefox Gets More Updates
Mozilla has released another set of updates to Firefox 3 hoping to patch multiple security flaws. The fixed components from the three 'critical' flaws include PNG and XUL. The other two patched a cross-site scripting vuln in the handling of XML code as well as a URL spoofing flaw rated as a 'minor' security risk by Mozilla.Mozilla also addressed the isues that caused cookies file to vanish. A bug which at times disable the menu was also patched.
The update also constitutes various security fixes for all Firefox browsers in Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Firefox 3.07 can be downloaded through the browser's built-in update components or through Mozilla's Firefox web site.
