Facebook Undergoes Transformation

Since Facebook announced a website make over seven weeks back, several groups and petitions have emerged to protest the change. Though some have fully embraced the new look,  Facebook is still waiting to see if the site's new features will be welcomed by the majority of its 100 million users.
With the changes taking effect, Facebook left users a choice to switch back to the old view. However, the company just recently took that option away, which is expected to cause an uproar from various users.

The site's modification includes  separating users' personal profiles into distinct areas and providing more tools that are designed to make information and photo sharing a lot easier.  Moreover, several applications were also moved to the bottom of the users' homepage clearing up more white spaces.
