According to industry tracker comScore, Facebook now has dethroned MyScpace in the world of social networking. On comScore’s research, 132 million people visited Facebook compared to that of MySpace which is only 117.5 million.Facebook’s strategy in broadening its language options to lure international users proved to be effective. It boosted the site’s web traffic and drove Facebook to the top of the social networking heap.
Facebook was launched on February 4, 2004. In just about 4 years, it attracted millions of visitors and even surpassed the previously leading MySpace in terms of site visitors. The website is most popular of uploading photos, with 14 million uploaded daily.
