EDS UK Top Exec Leaves Post, Moves to IBM Global Services

EDS UK chief executive Sean Finnan has left the firm for IBM Global Services. 
 

Finnan's move ends some speculations that the director had left EDS. His transfer will be made official on June 8.

 

Finnan will serve as the "global dealmaker" working from Zurich, taking care of IBM's global business. He will be reporting to Michael Daniels, IBM's senior vice president, according to TechMarketView. 

 

TechMarketView also said Finnan's decision was part of a progressing "exodus" at EDS. Current VP applications for Europe, Middle East and Africa Craig Wilson is deemed to replace Finnan's vacant position.

 

A number of executives have already left EDS for the past few months following HP's buyout of the firm. EDS executives are said to be affected in various markets as HP considers declaring job redundancies.
