Developers Worry About Android's Sales Returns
Developers have become frustrated with how Android Market fares against its rivals. The market earns $5 million per month which is way below iPhone’s sales of $200 million a month.A number of developers are calling for changes with the Android Market, hoping to earn more from their applications. Android Market accepts paid applications, but developers are haven’t seen any changes since the scheme was rolled out.
One contributing factor to its waning revenue is the low number of Android phones being distributed compared to iPhones. However, developers claim there are other significant issues the market is facing than that.
Some developers also complain about the limitations set by the basic limiting features of the Market. Another complaint slams Google’s regulation to allow users to recompense an application within 24 hours regardless of the reason. Google has not yet released any comment on the matter.
