Developer Claims iPhone Security is of No UseAccording to developer Jonathan Zdziarski, the much hyped Apple iPhone lacks critical security features that big firms need. Zdziarski claims iPhone 3G security is no different than the previous versions of the phone.

"I don't think any of us [developers] have ever seen encryption implemented so poorly before, which is why it's hard to describe why it's such a big threat to security,” Zdziarski said.

The iPhone has become increasingly popular among businesses and the government, and its security flaws can negatively impact Apple. Apple COO Tim Cook said nearly 20 percent of Fortune 100 companies had acquired around 10,000 to 25,0000 units of iPhone.

Analyst Ben Bajarin said, "It's interesting to watch how it's being used. Universally they are being deployed in a general sense, for everyone to use across the board. It's because of the power of the platform they can write so many apps for it.”
