Businesses to Have Windows 7 Upgrade by the End of July

Businesses who have puchases volume licenses with Software Assurance contracts  will get Windows 7 by the end of this month. 
 

According to a Deeper2K report, Microsoft plans to extend its special Windows 7 promotion. Users who have bought Software Assurance before August 31 will be able to install Windows 7 on systems acquired in August 1, with a discount of 15 percent.

 

Microsoft previously announced it plans to officially release Windows 7 to manufacturing before the end of July. The operating system has been making waves since it was introduced by Microsoft. The firm hopes to live up to the expectations when the OS finally hits the shelves on October this year.
