Apple and Cartier Settles Legal Battle
Apple and French jeweler and watchmaker Cartier have resolved their legal feud following the former's decision to remove the two iPhone applications from its App Store. The firm is alleged of trademark infringement, with Cartier claiming Digitopolis' Fake Watch and Fake Watch Gold Edition time-displaying iPhone apps inappropriately employ its trademarks.
The apps are now not available in the U.S App Store. Apple immediately got rid of the apps one day after Cartier filed charges against the company. In riposte to the software firm's immediate action, Cartier withdrew the case.
Apple has not made any official comments regarding the issue as of yet.
