MacBook Air is expected to have Penryn chips to boost its performance for video playback and battery life. Rumors have been flying around regarding the laptop's new feature and it seems more likely to be realized given the length of time since the last redesign of the MacBook and Intel's new Montevina chips. The addition of Penryn chips will definitely be a plus on the laptops already high-end features.Macbook Air was introduced last January 2008 as the world's thinnest notebook. It has a 13.3-inch, widescreen LED backlit display, with 1280 x 800 screen resolution, weighs 3.0 pounds, and measures 0.76 inches at its thickest point and 0.16 inches at its thinnest.
