Psystar Plans to Countersue Apple

Psystar, a popular Mac clone maker, plans to fight back and countersue Apple Inc. using Antitrust Acts. The company accuses Apple of anticompetitive business practices by restricting and tying its OS to its own hardware.  Psystar is also arguing that they are not cloning the Mac but cloning the PC and loading with MaxOS and had never modified the Mac software in any way.  Apple, on the other hand,  insists that they have never authorized Psystar to install, use or sell the Mac OS software on any non-Apple-labeled hardware.
The answer and countersuit will be filed Tuesday afternoon in U.S. District Court for Northern California. Psystar owner, Rudy Pedrazza, attended a press conference his lawyers called to present how Psystar will justify its OpenComputer Mac clone,  which has been for sale online since April.
