PROFILE

Operating in the East Midlands, with a central hub in Derbyshire, this client services blue-chip clients for UK-wide deliveries.

SCENARIO

Having a busy central hub, this client needed support for their infrastructure and consultancy on how to expand their network to suit their demanding business needs.

SOLUTION

Historically, this client had worked using basic IT system and was working without the control over their data that they wanted. By designing the network according to their needs and adding a server, they now have the storage that they require with the accessibility options that they have to have in order to support their client’s requests and needs. As part of their continued expansion, at the start of the year, we moved their IT infrastructure to their new offices. As a result of this, we were asked to develop the network capability to enable people to work from home when required – a useful tool to support the workers with young families and also those who are keen to access their emails over the weekend!
