Now with over 180 users, spread across 29 locations across the UK, this charitable organisation has increased in size due to it’s success in delivering what was required.
Cost-effective IT Support for a small charitable organisation with large and rapid growth plans.
Working with this client has provided us with many IT Support challenges. Starting from a point of 25 users across three locations, they grew rapidly at the start of a new contract which catapulted them to having 150 across 26 locations across the UK. We established all the hardware and IT infrastructure at all the locations, providing the equipment as required and providing basic IT training for the staff members where required.
Other solutions to ensure effective working practices were developed, including a bespoke database to manage all their enquiries and a flexible and intelligent call routing and management system. Providing a secure and centralised hosted email exchange server is one of the services that we continue to provide for this client. Using Littlefish Remote Vault, we provide backup services for all the locations within the group as part of their disaster recovery plan. With so many users, this is often called upon to restore accidentally deleted files, which we’re only too happy to do!
Being proactive whilst considering the cost implications of any suggestions is something that is necessary for this client. Being able to control such a large number of users whilst keeping an eye on the purse strings has been essential. A recent addition to their portfolio has added another 13 locations, again requiring everything from IT equipment, broadband lines and IT support and training.
