Virgin Media Launches On Tap Mobile Tariff
Virgin Media Launches On Tap Mobile Tariff
Virgin Media has introduced a new ‘unlimited’ mobile tariff for multiple services like voice, text, and web browsing. Existing customers with any of Virgin’s service packages will enjoy the offering at £65 for 18 months. The company is diverging from the current market value, offering more expensive mobile devices such as Nokia N86 and Samsung Jet. With the new tariff, qualified customers will get unlimited calls to other Virgin Mobile numbers, unlimited minutes for calls to other networks, unlimited texts and unlimited internet access for browsing, email and instant messaging.
However, the term ‘unlimited’ is still governed by fair use restrictions. Virgin has set a ceiling calls made per month, amounting to 3,000. The same policy applies to SMS and cross-network calls.
Virgin’s mobile director Jon Kini said, "The £65 per month tariff offers great value with unlimited texts, minutes and web browsing - the perfect combination for high usage customers who want the best technology available without paying the earth.”
