UK Still Unfamiliar with Broadband Video

Based on a recent survey by researcher company Parks Associates, majority of broadband users across Europe do not watch movies or TV shows online in the past six months. The survey inspected the viewing practices of most broadband users in UK particularly in France, Spain, Germany, and Italy.


Results revealed that only one out of five broadband subscribers check out movies and TV sitcoms on the web. Users rather watch films in movie theatres or wait until their favorite TV shows air on television. Participants based in the UK opt for television and cinema, followed by DVD sales and DVD rentals. Internet users in Spain fancy on cinemas, while Germans on the other hand prefer TV broadcasts and DVD acquisitions.
