Research Reveals U.S Broadband Still Lagging
A recent research revealed that U.S Broadband speed is still way behind other countries. U.S averages .4 megabits for download and 435 kilobits for upload while other countries such as Japan and Korea has an average download speed of 63mbps and 49mbps respectively. This research was published by Communications Workers of America which consists of 230,000 online speed tests all over the U.S.CWA will be utilizing their report to lobby lawmakers to build up a national broadband policy. There are other studies made by other groups showing the same results. These groups are also pushing for a national broadband policy.
