Phorm Rebuffs UK Pull Out Rumour

Phorm, an internet advertising firm, has refuted reports that it is pulling out its business from the UK. The company has been struggling to bounce back since losing support of two of its three ISP affiliates.
 

BT has already denied implementing Phorm’s advertising scheme, and TalkTalk cancelled its deal with the firm. Some newspapers have reported Phorm’s “plan” to pull out from the UK, but the advertising group vehemently rejected such rumours.

 

"Phorm remains fully committed to its operations in the UK.  We continue to be active in the market and are confident of the opportunities domestically. Meanwhile, Phorm is also making substantial operational progress internationally,” Phorm said.

 

Phorm claims it is now in talks with several British ISPs to partner with its commercial rollout.
