Law Society Pushes for IT Transformation

The Law Society has recently shelled out £12m for an agreement with Logica. The society aims to make a major IT revamp to save costs intended for IT support. 
 

With the Society's recent move, 25 percent savings is anticipated through outsourcing IT services. The group claims it would be able to meet IT investment plans through saving costs.

 

Logica provides its services through onshore and offshore model. The company also offers remote infrastructure management, hosting, support and maintenance of its server estate. In addition, it operates wide area network and applications management for core business systems. 

 

The Law Society hopes to develop the relationship between IT and the business with its tech revamp. With Logica's help, further upgrades in the company's infrastructure are expected.
