Intel Teams Up with Yahoo to Link Web and TV

Intel revealed its decision to collaborate with Yahoo to provide a way to tie television to the Internet. The application which Intel names “Widget Channel” will allow customers to access the Internet through their TVs.
The project includes Yahoo Widget Engine, an application platform that enables users to interact with TV, and Intel’s new Media Processor which helps power the Widget Channel. This is yet another bold move by the two of today’s biggest  IT companies in an effort to bring quality experience among its customers.
