Google Prepared to Shut Down Chinese Search

According to data from recent reports, Internet company Google has decided that the chances of leaving China without its IT service is of 99.9%. Even though the IT company has been in talks with the Chinese government since the IT security attacks it had to face, Google.cn might be enjoying its last days. The ultimatum about censoring its search results might have been the last drop that forced Google with this decision.

A commentary on the website of the official Xinhua news agency says that "The planet won't stop spinning because Google leaves, and Chinese internet users will still remain online without Google. In the past, China's internet developed very well without Google, and we can be sure that in the future, it will also develop in the same healthy way without Google." However, a spokesperson from Google said that officially "We've been very clear that we are no longer going to self-censor our search results."
