Google Launches Apps Marketplace

On Tuesday evening Internet company Google has launched a marketplace that gives other IT companies the possibility to sell their own add-ons for the IT connectivity apps of the search giant. Through Google's servers the apps get installed and users don't need to know more than one username and password for IT services. The thing is that only Google Apps administrators can install plugins, but this is a step forward.

Google is certain of the fact that this project makes things easier, so such integration is very important. Marketplace product manager Chris Vander Mey wrote in a blog post on the Internet that "Too often, customers who adopt applications from multiple vendors end up with a fractured experience, where each particular application exists in its own silo. Users are often forced to create and remember multiple passwords, cut and paste data between applications, and jump between multiple interfaces just to complete a simple task."
