Google Chrome Becomes More Popular

It seems that Google Chrome, the IT product from the Internet company, has started to become much more popular among IT connectivity users. In fact, its gaining of browser market share in January had the effect of taking some users away from Internet Explorer and Firefox, two of its biggest rivals. It looks like IT services users have started to like Google's Chrome much more in January.

Chrome ended January with a share of 5.2%, Internet Explorer 8 with a share of 22.3%, Firefox with a share of 24.4%, Apple's Safari with a 5.2%. There have been some interesting changes. Chrome is now number 3 when talking about popularity of browsers which means it took Safari's place. Firefox experienced a second monthly decline in a row, something which hasn't happened for two years. Internet Explorer 8, with all the bad publicity that has been going around, couldn't really make up for the losses caused by the older versions of the browser.
