China Shuts Down Hacker Training Firm

It seems that the Chinese authorities have started to do something about the IT security in the country and finally shut down an IT company. This firm gave normal people the "opportunity" to become a hacker through training that could teach anybody how to develop malware that will only get detected by IT products like anti-virus from IT companies. The biggest Internet site for hacker training - Black Hawk Safety Net was closed.

According to an IT engineer from SecureWorks, which linked the attacks against Google to China, said that "I guess it helps China save some face in light of all the disclosures coming out of China. I don't know that it will do very much about cybercrime." Three people were arrested when the police closed down Black Hawk Safety Net which offered tools and Trojan software to almost 12,000 VIP members and to 170,000 non-paying members. This is still a move against cybercrime.
